Port Adelaide Enfield Council and Spirit of Woman are pleased to announce the upcoming unveiling of a Ripple site in Stockade Botanical Park in Northfield. Stockade Park is an ideal location for a Ripple site, comprising of beautifully sculpted gardens and water features, as well as picnic areas and benches for quiet reflection.
Members of the Port Adelaide Enfield Council are busy planning the launch of the Ripple site, comprised of artwork purchased through Spirit of Woman. They are aiming to involve as many community groups as possible on the day, in order to embed the site within the community and make it an important gathering place for people to consider the impact of domestic violence and overcome its harmful legacy.
City of Port Adelaide Enfield and Spirit of Woman are excited to launch our ‘Ripple’ – a public art space designed to acknowledge the impact of domestic and family violence in our community, providing a safe space to gather, reflect, grieve, connect, and heal.
A public launch will be planned for early 2024 to unveil the artwork to the public.
